The Premier League would not have allowed the postponement. The NFL would have Wembley booked already for the weekend so the game would have been played on Monday even if Sky had chosen a different game to show. You can't blame Sky for taking the game as they already had all their cameras etc...

Probably because Tottenham promised them that the game would be played at White Hart Lane and not Wembley.
