    This is my worry. It all feels a bit pedestrian. We need a bit more guts, a few more ideas, some energy. We're sleepwalking a little. Propper is undoubtably an elegant player but i wonder whether we'd be more suited to giving Kayal a real go in the next few games. We need SOMETHING.

    AK needs a break. Just hasn't happened for him this season. IMHO we could spend money more sensibly on a winger this window.

    But we can't defend set pieces. What does our shape even matter when we are guaranteed to concede at set pieces? This is the perversity of it.

    Jesus Christ. The staff need to start doing something in training ASAP. The players can defend but they are CLEARLY not being set-up properly. We're throwing away goals and it makes a total ****ing mockery of our ultra defensive tactics.

    We'd gotten rather complacent early on about the effectiveness of the team as a defensive unit. We're still conceding far too many 'soft' goals. But for me, the real issue with our defence, and I include Propper and Stephens in this, is that they contribute so very little to our attacking...
