Yep, a manager should have a say, but mainly about new players. I don't think Poyet had to tell Bloom that Harley was awful, well at least I hope he didn't.
Yep that was exactly what I was told. Poyet was asked if we should pay him what he was asking for and he said no, let him go.
This is what happens when you give a manager your full trust which was Blooms mistake at the time.
I am not expecting anyone to believe it on here because unless you heard it the way I was told, and by whom, you would not be able to form an opinion either way.
It’s not about you or anyone else believing me, it’s about me believing who told me.
I did not detect any bullshit at the time so...
Agree, it is my understanding that we offered Murray £7.5k a week, but he would have stayed for £9k.
Disclaimer: Before anyone questions this and asks me to prove it, I don't have to.
So going to Oz and being uncontactable on the most important day of the season is ok?
The January transfer window defines the end of season run and season as a whole.
Had he come here we would have had a chance of promotion which would have been worth more to us than him. And if we didn't get promoted we could have made a few £million by selling him. We clearly decided that promotion was less important than doing good business.
