I’m not sure he’s been crap. But he’s not been decisive. Then again, neither had Bellingham until the final kick. I do think with Foden, he needs a smarter, more offensive manager than Southgate who has absolutely no idea what to do with him.

All big players miss a lot of chances. But as they’re the better players, they tend to get more chances to miss. He’s just having one of those nights. As an England fan, I’d prefer he does it tonight than in the Euros!

Whilst I do agree, Gomez has been in brilliant form from what I’ve seen this year and is arguably England’s most talented defender. It’s a real shame what’s happened to him with injuries over the past few seasons.
