[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

It surely depends how far back the back is! I’d generally be fine at the back (though I prefer about 20 rows from the front), but not at places like Anfield.

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

I think we’re agreeing but not reading each other’s posts properly! I didn’t say I rock up at KO time. My dad taught me well that you have to be in position a good hour before the game starts! I’ve been late a few times, though ......

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

This bit: “f you want your seats then you arrive early. Otherwise you can expect to fill the gaps. I'm not arguing for or against it, that is just the way it is.” Why should I have to arrive early when a lot of those causing problems (standing in aisles) are the ones who barge in late? It’s...

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

I’m sorry but you’re completely wrong. I’ve been going to away games for many many years and since all seater stadiums came about, have ALWAYS sat in my allocated seat except at Grimsby away when I couldn’t get near it so sat at the front. Claiming that “it’s not the theatre” and “it’s always...

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

I disagree. If everyone accepted it, then it wouldn’t get discussed regularly. When I complain about aspects of the home ticketing, the responses are often along the lines of “We’re in the Premier League now. Things have changed. You’ll just have to suck it up.” This should also apply to the...

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

There are two issues here, really. The main factor that seems to be driving the club’s behaviour, though, is the need to pay for unsold tickets. If this isn’t necessary in the Championship, then it is absolutely not necessary in the Premier League. It just needs the clubs to agree a sensible...
