Completely agree that neither deserve criticism, but do you think Dunk is better than Stones? Not for me, maybe in a year or two with more experience in the Prem, with or without BHAFC.

You skated over the part Maguire scored a crucial bullet header to give England the lead and stop Sweden parking the bus? Or is that part of just doing enough not to lose the shirt?

As I said earlier in the thread, top class centre backs in this day and age contribute with goals. If anyone thinks Dunky would have scored that chance they are living in cloud cuckoo land, Maguire is clearly a notch above Dunk, I think most even with blue and white tinted specs would concede that.

Sorry, disagree entirely, Maguire is probably a better defender, and although neither is in the team to score goals, centre backs in the modern day game should be contributing to the attacking play via corners, Dunk missed a few sitters from corners last season.

He was spraying passes around, scored a goal. I would say he dominated for a centre back but of course it is my opinion.

Which games did Dunk dominate? Solid player but doesn't contribute to anywhere near enough goals as he should do with his aerial presence.
