My point is that we overspent massively on Gus's watch. Unless we got promoted, we had to reduce the wage bill, therfore he's not comparing apples with apples. I am aware that the overpend wasn't Gus's fault but he definately did benefit from it.

8m wasn't Barber, the £14.8 wasn't fully Barber IIRC. The next set of results will be the first ones that are totally "on his watch." Pretty unfair to judge him on someone else's mess.
