Already did a while back. Elsewhere in the thread I also said the coaching is the one thing the FA can do something about and I don't really see what's stopping them.

Because the FA is skint and because £30m is chicken feed in comparison to what's on offer from the Premier League and the Champions League.

And that was a massive lie and everyone knew that at the time. The PL is SOLELY a money making vehicle. Nothing more, nothing less.

But why should Man City or Chelsea do anything to support the England national team. What's in it for them? Why do people expect the Premier League or the clubs to offer charity to the England National team? What's it got to do with them? How does it help them achieve their aims?

This is the one thing the FA can control and they need to get on with it.

And how does the FA gain the neccessary support from the PL to do this? If they even try one of two things will happen either the PL will win a legal challenge or the PL will encourage their members to stop their player playing for the England National team.

It's not won't, it's can't. Why does nobody see this? The PL hold all the ace cards and until the performance of the England team starts affecting PL profits, why the hell should the PL give a toss, it's not in any way their problem.

It doesn't matter, the FA ceased to control football in this country a long time ago. The Premier League wouldn't stand for it. The only way this would ever happen is if the PL started losing money as a result of the national team's poor performance, I don't really see that happening any time soon.
