Do a check to see how strong the DAB signal is in your area. I have a DAB radio, in Brighton I had 40ish stations, now in Burgess Hill I can only get 6. If there is no signal it doesn't work at all, not like FM where it can crackle and hiss, DAB either works or it doesn't.
