I would love for it all to turn out to be bollox and that Stephens plays on Saturday and signs a new deal. There will be plenty of egg on faces including myself. I honestly believe there is something in this though.

We already offered 8 million for one player and a few million for Duffy. We don't need to sell. This club will always make a loss unless we go up. Selling Stephens won't make much difference. It will mean we will need another quality midfielder though.

You are right about CH because he is very professional on things. I personally think it's an utter disgrace that if true he is refusing to play and wants out. He is still under contract and there's no reason why the club should make excuses to defend him. I would simply dump him in reserves...

It's to much of a coincidence. I'm 100% convinced the rumours are true. He is refusing to play. Really is pointless making excuses. Hughton said something about catching up on fitness. If i remember rightly Sidwell missed a chunk of pre season and he was at one stage touch and go for the Derby...
