Took you two replies to one post Dave and still post basically nonsense. Derby have recruited very well in terms of players but they failed in recruiting a decent manager. They have one now. Derby have been in a few play offs recently. Hardly a fail. Not sure you know what you are talking about...
Same can be said of Derby though. They now have a proven manager in charge. Once it clicks for them they will be a force. Bit silly saying they always fail when they have been there and we haven't
Hope this goes through. Stephens is a better player by some distance.
Would love Hughes here though. Thorne is a brilliant player they have but he is always suffering from serious injuries.
I would love for it all to turn out to be bollox and that Stephens plays on Saturday and signs a new deal. There will be plenty of egg on faces including myself.
I honestly believe there is something in this though.
Just have to wait i guess. Got a feeling his agent has said something in his ear to him to do what he has done. Once word gets out i'm sure Burnley will come back in.
You don't leave out your best central midfielder all together.
People still think otherwise though and believe the extra training excuse :lolol:
He was back in Lancing on a Saturday to catch up on some fitness work lol
We already offered 8 million for one player and a few million for Duffy. We don't need to sell. This club will always make a loss unless we go up. Selling Stephens won't make much difference. It will mean we will need another quality midfielder though.
Stephens will be gone if it turns out he wants out. Clubs don't hang onto unhappy players including us. We don't need to rush this but Burnley will be desperate to make signings before deadline.
Hate to say it but the buck stops with the player. He will be sold
You are right about CH because he is very professional on things.
I personally think it's an utter disgrace that if true he is refusing to play and wants out. He is still under contract and there's no reason why the club should make excuses to defend him. I would simply dump him in reserves...
It's to much of a coincidence. I'm 100% convinced the rumours are true. He is refusing to play. Really is pointless making excuses.
Hughton said something about catching up on fitness. If i remember rightly Sidwell missed a chunk of pre season and he was at one stage touch and go for the Derby...
