Best area is Olu Deniz and Fethiye. Local Turks are more friendly in this region than Antalya. For mid October go further south to Side. Depending on your age 40's/50's look at Daylan. Laid back and stunning. I go in 10 days time to Fethiye. Been to Turkey 9 times and nothing beats this area...
