The Tardis took doctor #12 to meet doctor #1 and we find out why at Christmas. I suspect that whereas both masters 'killed' each other, both doctors will 'save' each other.

Can't help but think with all the stories that doctor #1 plays a part in the Christmas special that Gomez regenerates into Susan, the original doctor's granddaughter, with Simm taking all the evil part. Or something over complicated like that.

60 minute finale tonight. Sure to be some surprises :rock:

Somewhat dull episode tonight, but next week's one looks promising.

Dr Who will go back to basics next year for sure. After Moffat losing viewers it'll be a tried and tested ( younger ) male doctor next, and more fun, less brain-hurting scripts.

Finally a 'proper' Dr Who episode last Saturday. It's been a while with Moffat being way too complicated with the show. Empress of Mars was excellent and back to what I hope we get with the new showrunner next year.

Moffat has made Dr Who way too complicated and I can't even remember where we are with the overall continuity now. Maybe he'll do a better series for his farewell. Episode 1 was pretty decent I reckon, so there's hope. So far, so good. Certainly looking forward to the next series when the new...
