Can't see Gus going to Wolves at all now. In 3-4 months Wolves will still have to pay the compo, and there could well be other managers available then anyway.

He already has when asked a couple of weeks ago - he said he wasn't ready for England yet ( although he'd love the job IN THE FUTURE ). Also that he wasn't ready yet for Uruguay.

Are you referring to Gus when you say 'Man from Del Monte', or to some other manager ( who may or may not be associated with oranges ) ?

It seems Gus isn't going to Wolves, due to the compensation issue, and it also sounds like he's not particularly upset about not being able to talk to them. If Wolves come back and decide to pay the compensation though, as they simply don't seem able to get anyone else in, then who knows what...

I imagine he means he doesn't control who offers him a job or when.
