Well, I am in one of those pictures above, my memory is affected by actually being there....but hey, it was an old school toe to toe....no weapons no bystanders..... But the blades had the edge in the end, until the old bill intervened.
They got over and grouped in the nw corner, we charged first and they did indeed get a shoeing, but it was them who regrouped and were joined by many more who then ran back at us, they had bottle for sure, they also got stuck in by the footbridge over the station....mayhem.
I shouldn't, but that does make me a chuckle at the memory, there was a repeat half an hour later in the cul-de-sac at the north end of the footbridge over Hove station....fiesty indeed...... not clever, but fiesty.
This exactly....what is all the flaming fuss...if there are a few 'weekenders' then they will be rounded up and put in a few selected establishments,.... no problem.
