True but 'taking the piss' out of someone when that piss taking centres around your belief/perception that the person/group is of a particular sexual orientation is a crime. That much is clear.

I wouldn't say it offended me but it was in particularly poor taste (at best) and seemed to me to be motivated by his perception that those he was aiming it at were of a particular sexual orientation, up to the authorities what they think of it.
I've reported it and have no desire, or need, to have 'a long hard look' at myself. I actually could not believe what I was witnessing from him tonight. It wasn't even as if he lost his rag and did it once, it was repeated at least five times.

Undertones were at best extremely unpleasant and at worst homophobic, best to let the autorities investigate it. Certainly plan to report it tomorrow myself just trying to work out best way to do so.
