    So that's the going rate for consultants £700/1000 a day or for many 5/6 hours and many charge £250 an hour. If that's the case then the worlds gone bonkers like footballers wages :) £175,000 a year for £800 a day but likely to be nearer £200,000 Yet nurses get peanuts :(

    Why should we keep pumping more money into the NHS when it's hideously mismanaged? Surely you're just feeding the corporations and middle men even more money.If it was run properly and was full of full time staff then most would be delighted...but the money will disappear and we'll be back to...

    Yes it's easy pickings for private firms and apparently some pills have increased from 16p to over £9 etc....It clearly is being completely mismanaged and robbed blind. Staff being poached because the wages is bloody embarrassing.Who would study for 5 years for 22k etc?

    Keep it the way it is and and make all staff fulltime instead of consultants and agency staff as well as increasing the nurse pay dramatically as they're ridiculously under paid for what they do. Also stop being abused and ripped off by large pharmaceutical companies who really do make a fortune...
