You have to bare in mind we've spent 75% of our history in the bottom two divisions and before the demise from the late 80's we was averaging around 11k.

The withdean was a complete utter dump and open to the elements with expensive tickets...The first 3/4 seasons sold out and we could have tripled the attendance and let's not forget we were in the bottom two divisions for most of that.
