The article was altered on the Sky Sports website late on Saturday evening. The Mirror then reported yesterday that Solskjaer was happy to let Mason go to Bournemouth for £2M. Andy Naylor tweeted this morning that an inside source at Cardiff says the asking price is now £2.5M
According to Sky the bid was accepted by Cardiff , it means Mason is told of the interest from another club , it is up to him to accept personal terms but a bid is on the table.
I'm inclined to think Bournemouth are trying to rub our noses in it. They have no intention of signing Mason but put in a bid to screw up any chance of us acquiring another player for a similar price to what was offered for Grabban. I think somebody at Bournemouth has been watching Storage Wars.
