If you scout out where the buses are afterwards and leave sharpish you should be OK, else the queues do get very long. I don't go often enough to have scouted out other bus routes which may be quicker. Maybe the car is the best option!

If coming by train then come out the town centre/south side of the station, turn right and go down the stairs for the football buses.
