That's pretty much true 🤣. It was as if he was schizo:
1. "He deserves to be at a big club"...(that should please Tony re the plan 👍,)
2. "We don't have experience in midfield"...( mama mia...Tony really sold them 🤦🏼♂️).
A bit harsh maybe, but it feels like that sometimes to me.
That's true, he seems full of contradictions...a complicated guy.

I believe he did research, but maybe it was a shock to him (and to Barber and Bloom) that Trossard, AliMac and Caicedo ALL left in short order. Especially Caicedo... the club were shocked at the money Chelsea would actually throw at it. I think it blindsided all of them.
