It's interesting to understand that there are spotter drones (from both sides) flying behind lines looking for suitable targets. Maybe some areas are obvious searches (known airfields etc) plus maybe some intel from local partisans. It's all very targeted 👍.
I'd hope you're right...but I suspect most of them are too entrenched in propaganda or fearful to be cynical of their state yet.
But yes, sticking country of origin flags on each piece of equipment does seem particularly childish and desperate!
