I have no idea if this will work, but for Athens game, some Albion without tickets emailed AEK direct and asked about VIP seats (where bloom and the bigwigs will bo doubt seat) and they were allowed to buy in a dedicated block direct from AEK.

For the AEK away march a load of fans got VIP area type tickets in a dedicated block just by writing directly to the club and asking. Is that worth a try now in advance?

I really don't get that? if the away section is a fixed area with 5k seats, why just give the minimum 5%, I doubt the extra 1500 Albion high up, in a corner miles from the pitch would make much difference to the 65k Roma fans.
