What would have happened if May had said 'no, you are not getting an an extra billion and an increased budget of 10%'?
I bet Thatcher would have said 'no, feck off', she wouldn't have stood for this!
It seems according to this document...

That in 2015-2016 the NI budget was £10.2 billion with a planned 2017-2018 of £10.5 billion.
I suppose a ~10% increase in budget isnt to be sniffed...
Was the Queen’s speech delayed in 2010 after coalition talks?
The fact its delayed at all this time suggests the DUP are carrying more weight than they necessarily merit. You would think that with only 10 MPs and less than 1% of the national vote that any amendments would be minor and not take...
Quite probably, but hopefully they would be forced into acting in the Country's interest.
Someone in the Tory party needs to MTFU, take the bull by the horns and sort it out.
According to Davis speculation in the Conservative party about a potential challenge to Theresa May’s leadership would be “the absolute height of self-indulgence”.
No David, calling a snap election, two years after the previous GE and after triggering Article 50, whilst having a majority in...
Which is course correct.
The Tory party are going to spend the next five years, or until the next GE, spending all their time focusing on not fully imploding, whilst managing Brexit and running the country.
I would prefer they spent all their time just focusing on managing Brexit and running...
Remember when Dave said this to Corbyn:
“It might be in my party’s interest for him to sit there, it’s not in the national interest and I would say, for heaven’s sake man, go.”
Wouldn't be surprised to see Corbyn use something very similar against May, and he would be right.
Another election would obviously be massively disruptive, a minority Tory government backed up by some crazy religionists should be less disruptive IF MPs from both sides of the divide can accept compromise.
Also would they call an election with the risk of losing even more seats, never mind...
Jeremy Corbyn has just increased Labour's share of the vote more than any other leader in any other election since Attlee in 1945
