This is pretty much my situation and the only way the government can enable people in blocks of flats to go EV is to provide much, much more in the way of charging points. They literally need to be as common as lamp posts.
I'm a motability user so am basically leasing the car. I'd need to order around early May next year depending on model. It might be a bit too soon where charging infrastructure is concerned though.
That's a good point. My drive to work starts at 6:20AM and in the dead of winter it can be very cold. Hopefully by then my workplace with have some chargers.
But arguments like this are just excuses, not reasons not to go EV. And where I live in Worthing there are many charge points locally.

I know ranges aren't what manufacturers quote and it's the same with petrol and diesel cars. But you just have to make sure you have enough charge to get where your going and until you can charge again, much the same as using fuel.
