Exactly this. We sign a striker that chips in with a couple of goals that we wouldn't have had without them, how much could those goals be worth come the end of the season? Obviously it's a risk but it's a risk i think we would be better taking. Short term fix but that's sometimes what it takes...

Buckley was recalled as Sunderland need him, not because he was pony at Leeds. Whether he would be a good addition here is immaterial as he is not available for loan.
