No shelf open despite family areas being sold out long before the upper tiers were opened and that there was only 2 blocks of family stands instead of the usual 3.5 + shelf. So why not shelf?
Still plenty of availability if any season ticket holders (or any One else) has woken up this morning and just realised they don’t have their weekend football fix.
Still moving at a similar pace. I predict more WSU seats to be released in the next 1-2 hours, which will of course mean another trench of front row seats.
ESU = 50 unrestricted seats (just 15 pairs remain - 19 in last hour)
WSU = 363 (37 in last hour)
Agreed. It seemed like the opening of these blocks was a last ditched attempt to prove they had made the right call and might still be able to get away without opening the upper tiers.
For me a big faux par was the lack of family seating. 2 blocks as opposed to 3.5 plus the shelf for a game...
That's correct. But they were told it may not be possible. As it happened for those games the club gave the extra 1500 tickets by utilising the southerly ESL blocks. Bods in these seats also were told this too. But since this year no ST's have been sold in H block of the East Lower.
There are not really 'many' season tickets in the south.
Judging by the number in the SW corner that are offered on a match by match basis, I would estimate it's about 500.
Whilst there are around 7500 (estimated) STH's in the Upper Tiers.
I also seem to remember that when ST's were sold in...
Over half of the available WSU tickets that were on sale this time yesterday have been snapped up. With pay day for some today and the realisation that the game is tomorrow and the sun will be shining I'd hope a good few are shifted today.
I'll even predict that by 2pm the club needs to open...
Yes and most would have. But we are talking about getting the maximum bums on seats. All of the examples I have listed might seem churlish to some with easy work arounds, but for some it will have been a game changing decision.
We all know the sorts that just 'can't be bothered' My 17 year old...
The club have made amends but their initial decisions have definitely and potentially are costing us bums on seats at this game.
Despite how torrid some of the following may sound, there are some out there whom it will apply to:-
Some want a lower tier. Maybe due to health / mobility issues...
