So ended the season on £393 profit.
It's interesting how few positive results I got, especially later in the season, despite us finishing 2nd and Palace being where they are.
Will be repeated next term. I suspect our long odds and fewer games will mean just 2 successes next time will result...
I've been crap at updating this thread of late. It's not as much fun when we don't win!
Losses from last two games brings the profit for the season down to £403.
Odds are 7-1 for the double this weekend thanks to the bookies assumption that Palace should easily overcome West Brom. Here's...
Clearly their demolition of Arsenal cost me £15 so running total down to £423.
Got on for this weekends double. Just need Leicester to do the businuss for a decent 7.2-1
Been a while since I collected but £18 profit after Palace lost yesterday pushes the season to date profit to £438.
The stakes therefore increase 50% to £15 this week and the double (us to beat QPR and Palace to lose to Arsenal on Monday) is 2.85-1
Shock horror at not collecting at the weekend. The £10 loss knocked the running profit down to £420.
£10 on us tonight and Southampton to beat them tomorrow. Odds are not quite so mean at 1.8-1
Another bye this week with their game postponed due to the cup. Shame, as would have been a great start last night.
Us to win away at Leeds and Watford to beat them at their place next weekend should offer tasty odds however!
The £10 loss this week sees the running total stand at £440.00.
West Brom to beat them and us to take all 3 points at Forest I am sure will be a lot shorter.
Looks like it's a week off next week as the Prem take a break for the 5th round of the cup. As Palace are not playing midweek either the next bet will be the weekend we play Reading and Palace have a relegation 6 pointer at home to Boro.
This one will be much better odds and would be super...
Gutted I could not bring home the bacon by us beating Brentford. The bet had one helluva start with Sunderland's first half demolition of Palace at huge odds.
The £10 loss leaves the season to date at £430 profit.
Slim pickings this weekend. Us to beat Burton and Stoke to beat Palace is just...
Such a scenario would likely make for some tasty prices next season too....
Brighton to beat Chelsea at the bridge and Fleetwood to beat Palace at Sellhurst might be something like a 30-1 double!
Was a fantastic start but ultimately a loss. The tenner this week brings the running total down to £440.00. I fully expect to be collecting again next weekend.
My bet was lost on Tuesday after they did Bournemouth, so running profit is down to £450. If I can find any comfort from last nights result it can be said that that would have been the first time ALL season that had there been a similar thread on their cruddy forum they would have been...
I do do evening ones, but I completely missed that Palace were playing Tuesday. All a bit too much for the brain us having a Thursday game!
There will be £15 on this double
