[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I think so too. I guess Barber didn't factor in the number of people who don't want to go to a match unless they can sit in their preferred seat! In contrast, I think the Palace game was handled badly (tickets too expensive and not enough loyalty points. Needed more incentives to get people to...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I agree some of the excuses for people not attending that game were incredibly lame. They missed out in the end.

Where are the people moaning they'd rather be in WSU than ESU? I'd have expected about 50 pages in this by now.

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I imagine some Coventry fans reading this thread and thinking 'Do we actually want to go? They seem a bit MENTAL'.

Why don't you lot get some placards made and STORM the ticket office.

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I'm normally in ESU and the queues (esp at half-time) are awful. However it should be much better if it's only half full for this match.

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

From the club's pov, there are a still a thousand tickets to sell in the lower tiers. They are not going to risk the expense of opening the upper tiers until most of these are gone. I, too, find it a little odd that people are so concerned about not being able to sit in their usual seat. I...

Probably. Looks like the Upper Tier lovers will have to wait a little longer.

You'd have to be extremely foolish to sell them to Cov fans unless you know them personally.

This will be the most packed (as in actual bums on seats) that the lower tiers have ever been.

None of what you say makes sense. How is selling the lower tiers first going to make any difference to the attendance? And if anything it will be a better atmosphere, as the lower tiers will be packed, instead of having the crowd dispersed around the stadium.

    Why does it matter?

That sounds about right. It is really poor given it's the fifth round. It seems a large proportion of STH dont give a monkeys about the Cup and only want to watch EPL matches. Doesn't bode well for if we get relegated.
