It is probably reasonable to assume that Wigan are gone. Millwall are 7 points adrift and with a poorer goal difference. They will need 8 points out of an available 12 to pass us, assuming that we do not take any more points (!).
They have Cardiff (A), Blackburn (A), Derby (H) & Wolves (A)...
Our brief climb up the table is beginning to look like the Dead Cat's Bounce (sorry Glasfryn) following the appointment of a new manager. I hope I'm wrong but it's hard to get excited about our prospects under Hughton right now. So much depends on pre-season and player arrivals and departures...
Bottoms! Not good. If either team had to win I would have preferred Wigan, as they have one less game to overturn the deficit.
