Recently rewatched this and found it just as good as the first time I watched it, decades ago (bearing in mind it was made in the 80s). Criminally underrated. edit - also free to watch on youtube I believe.

Whether films are overrated or underrated is down to personal taste SHOCKER! Anyway, no worries. I don't want to be trapped in a lift with Tarantino fans quoting his ridiculously fake and hammy dialogue.

Have to agree. Nobody would ever watch a Tarantino film for realism but the dialogue he writes is just movie talk nonsense, noone would ever say that shit! His films couldn't be more hammy (which I appreciate is deliberate but just irritates the hell out of me). Most overrated writer/director...
