It is a rather IRONIC ruling that, in that whilst many adults would welcome to chance to have a shirt without an ugly sponsor's logo, most kids (in my experience) would be massively disappointed to be lumbered with a shirt that wasn't a 'proper' replica of what the players are wearing.
bit of a tangent, but I wonder about the value of some of these advertising deals.
How many people see 'Visit Rwanda' on the sleeve of an Arsenal shirt, and think "Oh. That's a great idea." and head straight for the travel agent?
Far be it for me (or anyone, frankly) to stick up for the jolly jestermen, but in truth this shirt is a huge improvement on their previous effort. Admittedly the bar was set extremely low, but at least this one looks like somebody has actually designed it rather than just smashing it together...

I've a couple of good mates who work at Saints, one of whom told me early this week that he'd seen the kit and it was horrific! Apparently the Chinese company sponsoring the shirts provided no logo, and the club basically had to produce something themselves. He'd warned me the logo was...
