    That. Serena has RULED women's tennis for a decade. Venus hadn't made a GS final for ten years until Australia this year. Konta beat her in straight sets last time they met (very recently).

    Konta loses the first set on a tie-break. Unlucky, but Halep that important little bit more steady - never gives much away.

    #Aftertiming, obviously, but I declared Murguruza the winner after her third round win. Went to lace a bet, but not tempted by the 8/1 on offer. Should have taken it. By 'as ever', I guess you mean 'because Serena Williams is missing'?
