You needn't concern yourself with that possibility. 'Real politician' is hard to define. It very clearly means different things to different folk. Its clear that plenty see it simply as describing a profession.

I'd rather he wasn't the leader of the Labour Party, too, because of course you're right - he's an open goal for the Tories. That doesn't translate to me being willing to slaughter him for refusing to prostitute his beliefs for votes though.

He's really NOT a (professional) politician though, is he? That's the point. He's simply not prepared to 'play the game' as you kindly put it.

I assume you are probably right - he'll seemingly always value his principles above his ambitions. Quite a refreshing change from the rest of them, don't you think?
