Its not really to do with 'hypotheticals' at all. You very clearly said the reason you wouldn't shoot a lion is because you don't find them beautiful. Look: That's why I asked you to confirm for us, that them being a bit more magnificent, in your eyes, would make you more disposed to shooting one.

But if you found the big furry head beautiful, or perhaps all fierce - baring its teeth to look a bit scary, like your buffalo horns? Surely then it would be great to shoot one?

Just to clarify this bit, then, given your response to Commander's analogy - I take it you only shoot first generation interlopers. Feral kittens, perhap? - and that 5th, 6th generation feral cats are 'native' / okay?
