Falmer is, by some margin, the most sensible site logistically. If they can make it work that would be wonderful. If the playing fields next to the station work that is, of course, ideal. I do think it's a bit of a tight squeeze though
Not even surprised, she really had to be in there. Incredibly pivotal for the club. And Bunny Shaw is probably the most deserved winner possible, just dominant to an absurd degree.
I do agree with the consensus that any trouble is extremely unlikely to occur, I more wonder if either club will jump the gun and provide additional resources just in case, even if they're not needed ultimately.
Frustrating to lead that long only to get the draw. Other results have set up the Villa game on Saturday as absolutely huge.
In news from the Women’s Championship, Palace finish the season as champions and will be in the WSL next season. Be interesting to see what’s done with segregation etc…...
The main issue is, yes, the Amex is just too big and they'd actually like to move to the Amex if crowds grow to justify it. I think if they could regularly fill the lower tier then playing at the Amex is justified.
As for expanding the potential new stadium, Barber has actually talked about...
Lewes do look like they'd require an absolute miracle to get out of it. There's a very slim chance given Reading and Durham play each other, but even then it's a huge ask for Lewes.
So in frankly awful news, Palace Women are 2 points clear in the Championship with 2 games to go. Promotion would see them play Brighton in the WSL next season.
They play Lewes on Sunday at the Dripping Pan, who they will very likely beat. Their final game is against Sunderland, who are...
I would like to credit the Villa fans who were genuinely excellent. Brought a good number given it’s a cold Wednesday and a competition no one really cares about, and sang constantly and loudly. Also had an amazing variety of songs
We should have put that to bed in the first half, Villa were there for the taking before half time. They were the better side from then on
Very poor shootout barring Baggaley who did well to save two and was trying to get our takers into it
On the League Cup draw: Will be tonight (Monday 29th) at 6.30pm on BBC Sports Day which is on BBC News.
As for Saturday's game against Chelsea. Thought we did pretty well to keep the first half clean sheet. Chelsea are the best team in the league by a mile, and really showed in second half...
Meant to mention Bremer, she put in a real shift! Seemed to be constantly pressuring to win the ball back in Bristol's half, didn't make anything easy for them
Yeah I noted the way some of the flag were blowing in the east stand, looked absolutely awful. Must be one of the worst covered stands around. Glorified tent, very little protection from the elements and blinding sunshine for some kickoffs.
It wasn’t too bad for wind in the south terrace, but then it got you it was absolutely biting
Terland always pulls something out the bag. 9 goals in 11 matches, 3rd place in golden boot race. Hope we don’t lose her because she is exceptional
