Even if it's real, it requires a facial scan that takes about 5 minutes with a handheld laser scanner. I'd suggest that anyone that can get that is probably gonna get access to your phone regardless of how it's secured.
I honestly didn't know they had wireless charging spots, but I think I've been in one less than ten times in the last two or three years. It's a smart move though.
So MacRumors are reporting that while the iPhone X will have wireless charging, Apple won't be making a wireless charger yet, and you'll be required to buy a third party charger if you want to use the feature. That seems like a spectacular lack of joined up thinking to me.
