I think you're right, something to do with possible power cuts for the floodlights if it was played in the evening, I now seem to recall. But being as I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning...probably not. :)

And worse is one of the Walton team comes from Eastbourne, and I bump into him walking his dog quite often. It was for some strange reason played on a Wednesday afternoon, the Goldstone was nearly empty... Thank God there were a few kids there playing hookey :lolol:
