Police were bringing in dogs after the game, I imagine they were scary dogs rather than sniffer dogs, but either way, there were dogs at the stadium tonight.

Just on a point of information, I believe they were not fireworks but bird-scarers and smoke bombs, not that it makes a big difference to peoples' views.

Well there were two police cameramen in ESL filming events on high-tech looking cameras, so there may be more than CCTV to go on. Trouble is, one pallid, weasel-faced acne-jockey looks very much like the next one, especially when they're in identical Poundland hoodies.
