Does anyone remember the classic cock-up of a draw in the olden days. Again, only on the radio. It went something like this :
Northern accented intro "The herm team wull be drawn by Bert Millichip and awey team by Dr. Andrew Stephen." All proceeded well enough until,
"Noomber fourteen."...

Really though, wasn't it so much simpler in those days? On Radio 2 - "And now we go over to FA Headquarters at Lancaster Gate for the draw for the FA Cup 3/4/5/6th round with the Football Association's secretary Ted Croker . . . "
