Yep, I'm just saying that Connery, despite being something of a cinematic legend, bores me with his Scottish-when-it-suits attitude to life.

Wikipedia suggests that Connery grew up as a Celtic fan, then changed his allegiance to Rangers at some point in the 1990s :facepalm:
Also says he won't live in Scotland until it gains independence (and presumably grant tax breaks for exiled millionaire actors).
Connery is one of those who bangs on about his beloved home country and how amazing it is despite not having lived there for half a century.
