I don't think it's a ridiculous question. And I still can't make my mind up which I would prefer. Obviously 3 points is better than 2 but preventing Newcastle from getting 2 extra points would surely be more beneficial.

I had a specific question for this thread. But it seems to have veered off course !

Which scenario would you take given the choice: 1) draw both games 2) win Reading lose Newcastle Would depriving Newcastle of 2 points be better than gaining the extra point ?
