Have you actually read the terms and conditions of the protection scheme? It doesn't cover you if you decide not to go. There are certain criteria before you get your money back. For example, if you are going to claim illness, you'll need a doctors certificate to verify that!
There is no difference. I really don't get why people suggesting it think it will make a big difference especially when the North Stand can't get their act together sing the same bloody chant!!
I assume that they'll treat it like any cup competition, ie STH get first dibs on their seat. Should be easy enough as they'll know the fixture dates well in advance for the group games.
Either the club do this or they continue with the random ID checks to ensure those that are entitled to and have purchased a ticket are the ones that use them. (Could be done in conjunction with an away ticket exchange).
