You HAVE to nibble round the edge WITHOUT encroaching into the orange bit, then peel that bit off with the chocolate topping. Then eat the cake, then CAREFULLY remove the thin chocolate topping, eat it, and THEN the orange jelly.

This thread reminds me of a builder's van I saw down by Corfe Castle in Dorset, which had the following sticker on the back: "No Jaffa Cakes left in this vehicle overnight" which made me chuckle.
Totally this and you beat me to it! Jaffa Cakes taste great as a key ingredient blended in a milkshake, BTW... Shakeaway in Brighton do one with them and chopped up/blended chocolate orange and it's fab! Healthy too, with all that fruit... ;)
