    OK, so they don’t like playing on muddy pitches anymore. They’ve mucked up football so much in recent times that they might as well go back down the artificial pitch route. They can then make all pitches the same, make all decisions consistent and make the football as uninteresting as possible.

    All they’ve got to do is put some shades up. It won’t stop the drain on the national grid but at least they’ll be putting something right that was probably unforeseen.

    From Westdene It looks like the dawn sun. Glad I don’t live near it - must be like living in permanent sunlight. It would be OK of it worked - perhaps it’s the cause of the pitch being crap.
