Money, and being sold promises and progression. And Money. If you get fired, you get a payoff - the Potter example is a good one - he apparently got a 12m payoff. Would probably have needed 2-3 years more absolute minimum to get that with us, so taking a year off isn’t any hardship. He doesn’t...
It's simply not regression imo, anyone expecting progression to be linear - ie better every season -is deluded. We'll have seasons of over performance (last season was, massively) and those where we don't do so well. Overall the long term trend remains on the up....
Nah....as Jordan says they're just lazy with no ideas of their own. 'Copy Brighton' is all Boehly has got. We'll cope, and continue to be infinitely better run.

We choose to put him on gardening leave, not him. We could let him go straight away but of course he's then free to start his new job. Club have deemed it better to have him sit on his hands for several months rather than immediately start work on poaching current Albion targets. Makes total...
We're not going to match Chelsea-type salaries for either players or any other staff, full stop.
No-one would sign such a contract, and even if they did any decent HR lawyer would tear it to shreds.
