Standard wording in loads of job adverts these days. The wording on a job ad is the least of their issues currently

Interesting to see what happens there over the next few weeks……no manager for either men or women, CEO leaving, several redundancies (on the women’s side at least), no women's squad………

It’s what I heard last night…..definitely something odd has happened though. Cup match was postponed without any reason being given.

Likewise- have a Burgess Hill season ticket. Obviously a few Saturday clashes but midweek games are normally on a Tuesday so get to a fair few of them.

Heard they are about to get a 27 point deduction and have been kicked out of the cup. Player in question didn’t have international clearance and has played many games. Good source but haven’t seen any confirmation anywhere yet.

That figures….they lost a bit of space on the day due to TV cameras/people and sponsors stuff, extra catering outlets etc. It was definitely a sellout.

Burgess Hill 2 - 3 Three Bridges After scoring after about 90 seconds as the Hill defence fell asleep, Three Bridges went 2-0 up early in the second half in a poor quality game. Hill eventually levelled and looked to be on top but Three Bridges nicked a winner. Decent crowd and nice way to...

Lose loads at Burgess Hill - some unhelpful neighbours on one side (a row of houses close to the ground on one side with their back gardens almost adjoining the ground - had real problems in the past with complaints about the floodlights - now have a 10pm curfew on them) and woodland the other side.

Burgess Hill too and similar sized crowds………always a big group of kids playing their game to the side of the pitch, several groups using it as a social/drinking event, a hardcore group of singers (usually) of maybe 20, old men moaning at everything, WAGS, dogs and pushchairs, cheesy chips and...

Spoke to one of the directors during the game - obvious he was going, though to be fair it's been coming for a while I think. Deeply unimpressive from what I've seen anyway

Cray Valley Paper Mills just equalised against Charlton in their cup replay (with a penalty that never was, which resulted in a yellow that should have been red……no VAR, obvs  ). 1-1 at HT

Good game at Burgess Hill yesterday. Chichester looked far stronger and were 2-0 within about 10 minutes, Hill pulled it back to 2-1 before Chichester got a couple more. Hill then got back to 4-3 (including a penalty) and then had a potential equaliser disallowed for offside (Coxy went a bit...

Yeah, a bit all over the place. Being a physically lightweight team in a league full of bruisers isn’t helping much either…..

Coxy’s Burgess Hill up to 8th in the Isthmian SE with a 1-0 win over Sevenoaks. Not a great game but at least stayed dry until the end :lolol:
