Toon parkrun is really good, but get near the front for the start as there is a gate after a couple of hundred yards, a real pinch-point. Big turn-out, about 800 when I did it.

Agreed. View is fine for a change (I watch most matches from low down in the stands). Good concourse. Brilliant city for a night out. Great parkrun around the town moor on Saturday morning. Friendly locals. Not expensive relative to the SE. All in all a very decent weekend option IMHO.

I flew from Heathrow to Newcastle last season.....couldn’t face that drive. All worked well, v quick train link to city direct from the airport.

All those who haven’t been to Newcastle and planning to go should start fitness training now in case it’s an early season fixture. Just saying [emoji23][emoji23]
