Not sure that's a true reflection - I think we (well, CH frankly) has employed some superb game management and we've been in total control in some games, without banging in loads of goals like we had to last season (second half) to try to catch up. Leeds, Bristol City, QPR in recent weeks for me...

Not really. One of the main differences is we're conceding a lot less. I kind if get what you mean about not quite controlling games in the same way, but to use 'let down' to describe the midfield is a bit bizarre to me. Nowhere on the pitch have we been remotely close to a 'let down'.
