The local beer (Mary Anne) was truly awful……….the imported Dutch and Belgian lager was just as cheap though luckily. Main haunts for us were the Bond, The Lamplighter, No 10s and if we were feeling a bit adult we went to Lidos. Weekend late nights usually in the Warehouse, Thackerays or Madisons...

Me too (Lloyds).....tons of us in bank-owned accommodation with nothing better to do than play sport and get bladdered, had a brilliant time :lolol:
