Assuming planned engineering works (usually known weeks ahead) or known days like Boxing Day then I would guess the club would ask to move the fixture.
I think it's pushing it a bit to state 'free' travel Lord B!
An 'imposed contribution to travel via match ticket purchase' would be a fairer description I believe. :)
Not that I am complaining, it suits me as I travel on the bus to games.
Good suggestion. But the club would need some way of identifying home supporters to enable correct segregation from the more unsavoury elements out there, so I think a swipe card registered to an address would be the only way around this.
Yes . :)
Also he was touting a pay online version 'e' ticket and if you have a printer, you could print your own ticket complete with security barcode to scan at the 'gate'.
According to Martin Perrry, you will be sent a bar code to your phone and some contraption will read your barcode to admit you to the ground.
Planning conditions do not allow cash ticket transactions within the stadium boundary.
I am sure there will be a system whereby a 'very casual' attendee will be admitted without needing a swipecard, but you will not be able to pay at the stadium under current rules, maybe a online service where tickets are printed out with a barcode or via mobile phone purchase, or good old cash...
No.
But Martin Perry has said you will be able to buy tickets on the day through electronic means, such as online (I assume print out barcode type thingys) and via mobile phone (again barcode, I assume) But there will be no cash on the day facilities regarding tickets.
